Shanemichael Duncan
Shanemichael Duncan From an early age, Shanemichael was intrigued by hair and grooming. He graduated from PB Cosmetology School and returned for his educator's license. Shortly after, he built up a large clientele of female clients.
Realizing that barbering skills were highly sought after in the Bear community, Shanemichael started working within it and with male clients more and more. "I realized that men experience the same joy and satisfaction after their hair services," Shanemichael explained, " and after personally participating in No-Shave-November, I realized how much grooming men's beards require."
With the help of a business partner, Shanemichael started Bear Essential Hair to afford him the ability to remain in the salon in Philadelphia, PA while becoming an ally & advocate for the Anti-Bullying Movement, a cause that is very near and dear to him.
